Cookies and local storage

1. Summary

This site has been designed to work with the minimum possible collection of information. mibgs.com currently does not use first-party or third-party cookies, or tracking or advertising technologies.

Specifically, we do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity or any other tool that installs cookies or runs tracking code in your browser. No analytics or advertising cookies are installed.

We do measure visits, but in a way that does not affect you: we use Netlify Analytics, which compiles statistics on the server side, from the logs of the server that handles your request. It does not install cookies, does not write anything to your device and does not run any script in your browser; we only see aggregate figures. You can read the details in the Privacy Policy.

For this reason, we do not show a cookie consent banner: there is no technology that accesses your device and requires your consent. Server-side analytics falls outside the scope of Article 22.2 of the LSSI (Spanish Information Society Services Act), precisely because it does not store or retrieve information from your device.

2. Strictly necessary technical storage

The only storage technology the site uses is the browser’s local storage (localStorage), and it is used for an exclusively technical purpose:

• Key bgs_diag_last — stores in your browser the timestamp of the last assessment form submission, in order to prevent duplicate or abusive submissions (rate limiting). It contains no personally identifying data, is not shared with third parties and is not used to track you or build profiles.

This storage is essential for the proper functioning and security of the form, and is therefore exempt from the consent requirement. It remains on your device until you delete it from your browser settings; deleting it does not affect browsing.

Origin of the visit in the form

When you submit the assessment form, we attach to your request, together with the data you enter, information about where your visit comes from (for example: “Google”, “ChatGPT” or the name of a campaign), the page from which you reached the form and whether you were using a mobile device or a computer. It helps us know which channels work.

This information is not stored on your device: we do not use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage to obtain it. It is read at the time of submission from what your own browser already exposes — the referring link and the address parameters — and travels only within the form you choose to submit. It contains no identifiers, does not allow you to be tracked across websites and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. How to delete local storage

You can delete local storage at any time from your browser options (“Clear browsing data” or “Site data”). Doing so will only reset the form’s rate limiting.

4. Future changes

If in the future we introduce non-essential cookies or measurement or advertising technologies, we will update this page, detail the categories, providers, purpose and duration, and implement a consent mechanism in which rejecting is as easy as accepting, without loading those technologies before obtaining your consent.
